We're Done, and Hair Loss!

                                       Day +7 to Day +9

The wonderful, compassionate nurses!! They were awesome!!
Paco was literally running to us when we needed help! Always with a smile!
My WBC count went from 400(extremely low) to 9,600!! So, that meant we could have our Rituxumab infusion on Wednesday! And, I was out of neutropenia!! Yay! We met with Dr. Ruiz, and he said I did very well with the treatment! He said that my HSCT was successful, and that my MS progression had probably stopped! He asked if I had any changes with my MS. I told him no, not yet. Although, I think my headaches have been better! I used to have a headache everyday! He said it may take up to a year if I was to see any improvement!
But, the goal was to stop progression! Hopefully that has happened!!
Clinic Ruiz gifted us with a box of oils, soaps, and lip gloss!! They're very thoughtful!
A picture of group 3, my new British friends!!
As many of you know, I started losing my hair! By Thursday I knew it was time! It was a very emotional day for me! I thought I was ready, but it's so hard when it comes to shaving your head! After much turmoil, crying, and encouragement from all of you, my barber-in-chief, Dave, shaved my head!! It was time.
This is just some of my hair that had fallen out!

So Dave started shaving it when I was ready! This was the start.        Being you have been with me on this journey, I decidedto share these pictures that show the good, the bad, and the ugly! Actually, my scalp didn't hurt as bad after I had it shaved!

He wanted to have some fun with it, so he gave me a little mohawk!
The final result! It feels so weird😕
Today, Friday, we had a party up on the roof with everyone in our group! 15 in all! All of our drivers were there, also!
It was so fun to see everyone and we laughed a lot!!
This is our Warriors group 2!! We've been through a lot together!
Patty from Canada, Sarah from Liverpool, UK, Steiner from Norway, and me from USA!

Our awesome carers, who worked so very hard!! Xavier, our driver and friend!! He would do anything for us, and always with a smile😀😀

We're finally done!! We'll be friends forever!

Much love to everyone who was involved in our care!!
I'm so glad we came to Puebla, Mexico💕💕

I want to thank God, who is always there for me! Thank you to all of my friends, family and supporters! Without you, this wouldn't have been possible!!
Now, the hard work begins, trying to get stronger and to heal!

This was sent by one of my friends today!
One of my favorite verses! Thanks Lisa:

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭40:28-31‬ ‭

The Lord is with you and He is all the strength you need! Trust in Him!
Praying for you everyday! So excited for you to come home tomorrow!
Love you!
Lisa

Amen!!
Thanks Lisa for your encouragement!!
I can't wait to come home tomorrow!!
Love you,
Kim💕💕

Love to you all and God Bless You!
Kim💖💖💖
